OK gang,

One more time let's go through the rules for forwarding messages:

1.	If it quotes a press release from a distinguished organization,
check for a date. Just saying "Microsoft announced today" or "the FDA
released results last Tuesday" doesn't cut it. Real press releases should
have dates. Recent dates, to be precise.
2.	THE MORE CAPITAL LETTERS in the message, the less likely it is to be
3.	Someone that sends you a message that says SEND THIS TO EVERYONE YOU
KNOW doesn't care what EVERYONE thinks of you.
4.	Click on a link before you forward it. Check it out yourself before
making me do so.
5.	Likewise, when you forward a message asking for donations (blood or
money, doesn't matter) and an email/telephone number for additional
information . . . send an email or call the number before you forward the
pathetic cry for help. If I get that sob story with the fake email from
aliroo one more time I'll scream.
6.	No one will pay you for forwarding email. NO ONE.
7.	If you think it may be real, look it up on Snopes, et al. It so easy
to do . . . and if you see that it is a hoax, you can still look cool on the
list. Just post it and say THIS IS A HOAX! DON'T FORWARD IT TO ALL YOUR

Subject: [list] Medication Recall

Someone passed this on to me and I'm passing it on to the list. Also,
somebody else who knows told me that Robitussin is not Kosher anyway.
All drugs containing PHENYLPROPANOLAMINE are being recalled. You may want
to try calling the 800 number listed on most drug boxes and inquire about a
REFUND. Please read this CAREFULLY. Also, please pass this on to everyone
you know.

STOP TAKINGanything containing this ingredient. It has been linked to
increased hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding in the brain) among women ages 18-49
in the three days
after starting use of medication. Problems were not found in men, however,
the FDA
rec ommended that everyone (even children) seek an alternative medicine.

The following medications contain Phenylpropanolamine:

Acutrim Diet Gum Appetite Suppressant
Acutrim Plus Dietary Supplements
Acu trim Maximum Strength Appetite Control
Alka-Seltzer Plus Children's Cold Medicine
Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold medicine (cherry or orange)

I just found out and called the 800# on the container for Triaminic and
they informed me that they are voluntari! ly recalling the following
medicines because of a certain ingredient that is causing strokes and
seizures in children:

Orange 3D Cold &Allergy Cherry (Pink)
3D Cold &Cough Berry
3D Cough Relief Yellow 3D Expectorant

They are asking you to call them at800-548-3708with the lot number on the
box so they can send you postage for you to send it back to them, and they
will also issue
you a refund.

If you know of anyone else with small children, PLEASE PASS THIS ON. THIS

They can then pass it along to their families. j

To confirm these findings please take time to check the following:
