How to Exercise in the Extreme Summer Heat

Summer has arrived and along with it comes ices, beach trips and those few extra pounds that accumulated this past winter. If getting fit is one of your summer goals, you are not alone!


Besides for healthy eating habits, regular exercise is a crucial step to shed that unwanted weight and get fit.

 

How can I exercise in this crazy heat?


Because Beit Shemesh summers are so hot, it is highly recommended to sign up for summer gym membership. Amir Akelling, Country’s fitness room manager gave us two reasons why. First, at the gym, the room temperature is always moderate, so you never have an excuse to skip your workout; it’s never too hot and never too cold and never too rainy to work out. In addition to the indoor gym, swimming is probably the best way to get fit while staying cool.

Secondly, unlike independent exercise, when you are a gym member, you can build your own unique program, track your progress, and access all different types of equipment, with the added benefit of support and guidance from a professional trainer. Whenever you feel tired of working out, your trainer will motivate you.
