Prepare for Chanuka at Matan Bet Shemesh "Mai Chanuka" - Shedding Light on faint traces of Chanuka in Tannaitic Sources with Debbie Zimmerman. Tuesday Mornings 8:30-9:40 starting this Tuesday through-out November. Congregation Netzach Menashe, Rechov Reuven 1840 nis per class/ 470 nis for the rest of the semester. Chanuka is not mentioned in the Mishna, but the Gemara and Tosefta preserve some early rabbinic sources. Together we will explore some of these sources to illuminate how they shape the halacha and stories of our modern Festival of Lights.
