Finally: Roadwork has Started on Levi Eshkol

Road work has begun on Sderot Levi Eshkol this week.

Sderot Levi Eshkol, which is one of the main roads in the city, has not been renovated for many years, and this was felt on every trip on a road full of potholes and debris. As part of the works, a new support wall will be erected along the entire length of the road, the traffic axis will be widened, the pavement on the road will be replaced and in addition, landscaping will be carried out to improve and upgrade the city. The works are expected to continue until December; until then expect temporary change to the traffic patterns while the roadwork takes place. The Beit Shemesh municipality stated that "we will work to complete the work as soon as possible, and an effort will be made to allow the city's residents to continue as routinely as possible while traveling on this road during the works. During the works there may be traffic disruptions and we apologize for temporary inconvenience." Meanwhile, the municipality continues to work for public transportation users as well.
