Goodbye Egged! After Pesach Tnufa will Take Over all The Routes ...

From Tuesday April 26th, 2022, the bus lines from Beit Shemesh to Jerusalem which are still operated by Egged, will move to the new operator, Tnufa. As part of the transition, a number of changes will take effect on the various bus lines.

At the same time, construction work on the light rail at the entrance to Jerusalem means that many buses will be diverted to a new route to the Central Bus Station. Buses currently going via Sarei Yisrael in Jerusalem will now go via Yirmeyahu (behind the Central Bus Station), which mean a few minutes walk round to the front for those who want to use the light rail. 

> Line 417 will change its number to 617 and change its route. The line will shift from the Bar Ilan - Sarei Israel route to the Shefa Chaim-Yermiyahu route.

>Line 418 will change its number to 618 and change its route. In order to shorten travel time, the bus will travel directly on Hayarkon street and from there to Kishon street, and will no longer pass through Nachal Luz, Refaim and Ayalon streets in RBS A.

>Line 419 will change its number to 619 and change its route. In Jerusalem, the line will shift from the Bar Ilan route to the Shefa Chaim route. In Beit Shemesh, the line will no longer pass through the streets of Habakkuk and Yermiyahu.

> Line 600 - buses will run more frequently.

> Line 626 - buses will run more frequently.
