ONE SHAS. ONE COMMUNITY. ONE DAY!

We are thrilled to invite you to participate in a very special community-wide project that will take place in the coming weeks: the RBS A Yom HaShas, in which, together as a community, we will complete Shas in a single day, in advance of the Chag Matan Torah.

The project is being undertaken for a very special reason- to support local Torah institutionsin RBS A. 

All of has felt the effects of the corona crisis this past year; we've all experienced both the physical and spiritual strain caused by COVID. But our Torah mosdot felt it particularly hard. Dozens of local Yeshivot and Kollelim are in financial crisis right now, due to corona.

The Yom HaShas will, therefore, serve a dual purpose: to provide all of us with a much-needed boost of spiritual inspiration as we come together in unified Torah learning - and to provide our Torah mosdot with a much-needed boost of funds, so that they can contniue infusing our community with its Kol Torah and Kedusha, every single day of the year.

How will the Yom HaShas work?

1. Select the dapim you wish to learn.

2. Set a fundraising goal, an amount that you will, bli neder, raise on behalf of a specific institution or the RBS Alef Torah institutions in general.

3. Prepare your dapim in depth, in advance of the Yom HaShas on Erev Rosh Chodesh Sivan (May 11th).

4. Solicit your friends and family to support your Yom HaShas learning on behalf of our local Torah institutions.

5. Learn your selected dapim, on the Yom HaShas, Erev Rosh Chodesh Sivan.

6. Finish all of Shas in one day, together with the other Yom HaShas learners!
