Erev Yom Hazikaron Events in English Tonight

🕯 Yom Hazikaron starats this evening - Israel's official remembrance day for fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism.

Please note that all malls, restaurants and places of entertainment will be closed this evening from 7pm.  Flags are flown at half mast, and Israeli media will be sharing documentaries, interviews and suitable content throughout the evening and all day on Tuesday. Stores, malls and restaurants will be open tomorrow as usual.

Yom Hazikaron opens with a siren tonight at 8:00 pm.

Tomorrow morning, Tuesday, a two-minute siren will be sounded at 11am which marks the opening of the official memorial ceremonies and private remembrance gatherings at each cemetery where soldiers are buried.
