19 People Injured in Fire in Beit Shemesh

A fire broke out Thursday morning in a residential building on Chazon Ish Street in the ultra-Orthodox Kirya. Rescue forces who arrived at the scene with the MDA teams rescued about 19 of the residents of the building who were injured by the fire.Among the injured were two children, aged six and seven, who were severely injured. They were taken to hospital with another young woman of about 22 who was moderately injured. The three were taken to Assaf Harofeh Hospital, along with seven others, who were lightly injured from smoke inhalation. Eight other casualties were evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem
