Description

Starting this Sunday morning, February 10, infrastructure work has began at the entrance to Jerusalem, as part of the construction of a bus lane (HOV) between Weizmann and Yirmiyahu Streets.
The traffic lights in that area will be out of service for six days, and motorists are advised to find alternative routes of entry to Jerusalem.
The project manager stated,"As part of infrastructure work to complete the designated public transportation route between Weizmann and Yirmiyahu Streets at the entrance to Jerusalem, traffic lights will be discontinued and traffic will be directed by police and inspectors. It is recommended to find alternate routes of entry.
"The work will continue for six days, during which a substantial infrastructure around the clock to complete the route designated for public transportation between Weizmann and Yirmiyahu streets, will affect traffic arrangements at the entrance to Jerusalem.
"In light of this, heavy traffic patterns are expected, and therefore it is recommended to reach the area by alternative routes. At the end of the work, a new public transportation lane will be opened from Givat Shaul Junction to HaTzvi Street - Central Bus Station."
