Itamar Bartov Appointed as Next City Manager in Beit Shemesh

Today, the City Council's Approval Committee approved the appointment of Itamar Bartov to serve as the next Manager (CE0) of the Beit Shemesh Municipality. His appointment will be presented for approval at the City Council next week. 

Bartov will replace Mira Mines, who recently resigned from her position. 

Bartov is a resident of Moshav Srigim, located near Beit Shemesh. Bartov has extensive management experience and in-depth knowledge of working with the different branches in private companies and government sectors . He has been involved continuously over the years in business, legal, communication and human resources.

Until recently, Itamar Bartov has served as chairman of Amidar. Amidar manages about 60,000 public housing units throughout the country and in his role, Bartov managed the many interfaces with many localities and dealt with a variety of issues related to public housing and urban renewal. Additionally, he has held senior positions in many companies, such as Head of Staff and VP of Cellcom, Secretary of EL Al  and VP of Service, VP of Planning and Control at the Post Office. Itamar is also a partner in the Hummus Eliyahu restaurant chain.
