Pesach Guidelines from the Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health published guidelines for Pesach 2020 in the shadow of the Corona virus.

So what's going to be different this Pesach?

This Pesach, only the family members that live in the same house at all times will celebrate Pesach together (in person). There will be no meeting up with other members of the family, in order to minimize the spread of the Corona virus.

When people gather, the virus spreads.

Pesach Preperations:

• According to the guidelines set by the Chief Rabbinit, there will be no Hagalat Keilim/Tevilat Keilim
• According to the guidelines set by the Chief Rabbinit, there will be no chametz burning in public spaces
• There is no need to sanitize your home, regular home cleaning products are enough.
• Try to order everything that you need online (if possible)
• If you MUST leave your home, you must wear a regular face mask OR a homemade mask made of cotton cloth and strictly abide by the 2 meter rule. 

This Erev Pesach or Chol Hamoed you can Zoom or call your loved ones or find other creative means of communication (Please note: The Chief Rabbinit emphasized that this is not permitted on Yom Tov).

Every person should pray alone in their own home.

The Pesach there will be no trips in nature, everyone will stay home or within 100 meters of their home.
