Update from Israel Railways:
In accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Transportation and the Home Front Command, Israel Railways is returning to normal and operating a full train schedule, in two stages.
Today, Thursday April 9th
🚆 Starting today, Thursday, April 9th, the following stations will reopen for service:
Tel Aviv HaHagana Station
Dimona Station Karmiel
🚆The following lines will return to full service:
Dimona-Beer Sheva North University Line
Modi'in-Jerusalem Line (with a frequency of one train every hour).
* Passengers on the Beit Shemesh-Netanya line will be required to change trains at Lod Station.
Tomorrow, Friday 10th, the operating hours on most lines will be extended until approximately 3 pm.
Starting Sunday April 12th, we will operate a regular train schedule and train service will be 96 percent on all travel routes throughout the country. (Except for a number of specific trains that will be added back to the schedule in the following days)
🚆 Stations that will reopen for service starting Sunday
Kfar Chabad
* The Beit Shemesh-Netanya line will be operated continuously without the need to change trains
❗️We are making great efforts to restore optimal train service as quickly as possible, despite many constraints and challenges to operation and service, including due to manpower aspects and the recruitment of reservists for the war effort.
❗️ It is recommended to keep up to date with complete information about train times, travel routes and stations open for service on the website, the app, the call center (*5770) or the digital channels.
