Yesterday, the Education Ministry published the list of the 370 outstanding schools for the last academic year, and Beit Shemesh is proud of 8 schools that were included in the prestigious list.
The schools were judged in the field of values, social factors and academics using parameters including percentages of honors in the Bagrut exams, integration of special education students, preventing student dropouts, the recruitment rate for the IDF or National Service, and more.
The 8 outstanding schools in Beit Shemesh:
Distinction Level 2:
Branko Weiss (State)
Ahavat Yisrael (National Religious)
Ulpanat Ahavat Yisrael (National Religious)
Yeshivat Mesivta (Haredi)
Distinction Level 3:
Ulpanat Noga (National Religious)
Distinction Level 4:
Atid Dvir Boys (National Religious)
Atid Shachar (National Religious)
Pninei Chen Girls Seminary (Haredi)
The teaching staff at the winning schools will be rewarded with a monetary prize up to NIS 9,745, in relation to their place on the list and in accordance with the agreement reached between the Ministry of Education, the teachers' organization and the Ministry of Finance.

Mayor Shmuel Greenberg said "This recognition is further proof of the quality of Beit Shemesh’s education system, the professional work of principals, teachers, and staff, and the fruitful cooperation with parents and students."
