The storied "Shvil HaEshel" mikveh has officially reopened its doors following a complete, top-to-bottom reconstruction. Rebuilt entirely from the ground up through a joint ₪2 million initiative by the Religious Council and the Committee for Family Purity, this historic landmark, the very first mikveh in Beit Shemesh, has been transformed into a mikveh of modern elegance and uncompromising halachic standards.

Though a formal dedication ceremony is scheduled for a later date, Religious Council Chairman Rabbi Avraham Fadida made the strategic call to open immediately upon completion. "This facility belongs to the public," Rabbi Fadida declared. "We saw no reason to keep our community waiting for bureaucratic formalities or grand celebrations. The gates are open, you are invited to experience ritual purity in royal comfort."
