Signs:
Heavy sweating and cool, clammy skin
Dizziness or weakness
Headache
Nausea or vomiting
Rapid heartbeat
What should you do?

Move to a cool or air-conditioned place.

Cool the body with a wet towel or a fan.

Drink water in small sips.
β If symptoms don't improve, or if the person becomes confused, vomits, or loses consciousness, seek medical attention immediately.
Heat stroke is a medical emergency that can be life-threatening.
Signs:
Very high body temperature
Hot, red skin
Severe headache
Confusion or loss of consciousness
Rapid heartbeat
What should you do?
π Call emergency services immediately.
π³ Move the person to a cool, shaded area and begin cooling their body.
π« If the person is unconscious or has trouble swallowing, do not give them anything to drink.
π§ Drink plenty of water.
πΆοΈ Avoid being outside during the hottest hours of the day.
π Wear light-colored, lightweight clothing.
βοΈ Stay in air-conditioned places whenever possible.
π Never leave children or pets in a parked car.
