As expected, Aliza Bloch presented her resignation this afternoon to the new mayor.
In response, Greenberg said, "I thank Aliza for her contributions to the city and wish her luck in the future."
Due to the new vacancy in the City Council, number 4 in Beit Shemesh Meuchedet, Tamar Zussman, will enter.
Zussman is 46, lives in RBS G and is a well-known activist. She will be the first Chareidi councilwoman in Beit Shemesh.
Dr Bloch stated: " I am excited to congratulate my friend Tami Zussman, who will be the first ultra-Orthodox woman council member in Israel and proud of the wonderful human diversity of the 'United Beit Shemesh' list - there is no other list in Israel that is harmoniously presided over by a secular representative, a national religious rabbi from Ethiopia, and an ultra-Orthodox woman."
