No Family Left Behind: The Race to Save Pesach for Beit Shemesh Families
As the homes of Beit Shemesh buzz with the sounds of cleaning and holiday preparation, a very different sound fills the Ezrat Achim Chesed Kitchen. It is the sound of industrial pots boiling and teams working around the clock to ensure that the most vulnerable members of our community are not forgotten this year.
The Weight of Uncertainty. For thousands of local residents, lonely seniors, struggling families, and those facing crises, there is a heavy cloud over the upcoming holiday. While we plan our menus, they have no idea what their Seder night will look like. They wonder if there will be wine for the four cups, enough Matzah for the children, or a hot meal to celebrate the Exodus.
A Kitchen That Never Sleeps Ezrat Achim has committed to filling that void. Our Chesed Kitchen is currently operating at full capacity to prepare thousands of rich, dignified meals. But the sheer scale of the need is unprecedented. We simply cannot reach every family on our list without the partnership of the community.
How You Can Help Hashem’s promise is clear: "If you bring joy to Mine, I will bring joy to yours". This Pesach, you have the opportunity to adopt a neighbor in need:
360 NIS: Provide Seder and first-day meals for a single individual.
720 NIS: Adopt a family for the Seder night.
1,800 NIS: Provide a full Seder and first-day experience for an entire family.
3,600 NIS: Sponsor all holiday meals (Shabbat HaGadol, Seder, and the final days) for a family.
Don't let a neighbor face the Seder alone. Donate Now: https://swiy.co/EAPesach26
