Beit Shemesh Launches Major Employment Survey

Beit Shemesh is launching a wide-scale municipal employment survey aimed at mapping the needs, goals, and priorities of job seekers in the city. The purpose of the survey is to provide the city’s Employment Department and the municipality with an accurate, current picture that will help them to develop programs, initiatives, and services that are truly aligned with what residents need.

The survey targets men and women aged 18–67 and was designed with the goal of listening to the diverse voices in the community and understanding the evolving trends and demands in the local job market. Organizers emphasize that every response plays a vital role in the city’s decision-making process and will enable the development of effective strategies to strengthen local employment resilience.

Mayor Shmuel Greenberg said "With accurate data, we can match incoming businesses with the right workforce and create meaningful employment that fits the needs and aspirations of our residents. Every participant helps strengthen our local economy and advance our city."

The Employment Authority emphasizes that the more residents participate, the more comprehensive, relevant, and useful the resulting data will be. All collected data will serve the municipality and its partners in advancing new employment initiatives and programs.
