👏New at Ben Gurion Airport: Free one-hour parking!

Starting today (June 1st 2026), a designated parking lot will be open FREE of charge for drivers arriving to pick up passengers from Ben Gurion Airport, allowing one hour of waiting in the parking lot without disrupting traffic.

This is an existing parking lot that was converted by the Airports Authority for the purpose of waiting and allows a one-hour stay free automatically. The parking lot is located on Airports Authority Boulevard, a five-minute drive from Terminal 3. It is located between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The location can be found by the name  Hourly Waiting Parking Lot at Ben Gurion Airport - חניון המתנה לשעה בנמל תעופה בן גוריון.

Note that if cars stay in the parking lot for more than an hour, the price list will be priced as for short-term parking. That is, 0.5 shekels per minute of parking, with the hour after that costing 20 shekels and each additional quarter of an hour costing 5 shekels. The maximum cost for 24 hours in a short-term parking lot is around 90-100 shekels.

The parking lot allows you to wait comfortably until passengers arrive, without endangering traffic or getting a ticket. The Airports Authority reminds you that stopping or waiting on the side of the road in the Ben Gurion Airport area is prohibited and endangers traffic. Enforcement in the area is carried out using a camera system deployed throughout Ben Gurion Airport, and drivers who violate the guidelines are subject to a fine of 500 shekels.
