Construction of the new country club in Ramat Beit Shemesh Neve Shamir is progressing and has entered its final stages. Next week, the installation of the building’s roof is expected to take place a major milestone toward completing one of the city’s key new recreation, sports, and community facilities, with an estimated investment of 40 million NIS.

On Monday (20.07), Mayor Shmuel Greenberg toured the site together with city officials and representatives of the Beit Shemesh Economic Development Company, receiving a detailed update on construction progress, timelines, and the remaining steps before the facility opens.

The new country club will offer residents a swimming pool, toddlers pool, gym, activity rooms, spacious outdoor areas, and family leisure spaces. The complex will also include a high-quality commercial area, providing additional services for residents of the neighborhood and surrounding communities.

The project is being overseen on behalf of the municipality by Itzik Kanizo, Director of the Culture, Events and Sports Department.

The new facility is expected to serve thousands of Beit Shemesh families throughout the year, including during the winter season, providing a major addition to the city’s recreation, sports, and community infrastructure.
