🏫Registration for kindergartens and elementary schools for 2026-2027 opened this morning

🗓 Registration dates: From Monday, 19th January 2026 to Sunday 8th February 2026

✏ How to register?
- Online registration through the city website: Online registration is for residents of that authority only. Anyone who is not registered with the authority will not appear on the website and will have to register manually.

- In-person registration at registration stations in the Iriyah: Details will be provided when registration opens. 

⚠ Important:
~ Registration is based on geographical registration zones
~ New city residents or those with outdated addresses must attach relevant documents (rental contracts etc)
~ You can choose a preferred kindergarten, but placement is not guaranteed
~ New residents in town? Don't forget to ask the previous city for "certificate of removal from student status" or "certificate of cancellation of registration". 
~ Only children aged 3 and above can register.
~ Registration for the private education and Talmud Torah schools is directly through the schools.

1st Grade: 1.1.2020 to 31.12.2020: ד' בטבת התש"פ ועד ט"ז בטבת התשפ"א
Ages 5 / Gan Chova:  1.1.2021 to 31.12.2021: י"ז בטבת התשפ"א ועד כ"ז בטבת התשפ"ב
Ages 4 / Trom Chova:  1.1.2022 to 31.12.2022: כ"ח בבטבת התשפ"ב ועד ז' בטבת התשפ"ג
Ages 3 / Gan Shalosh:  1.1.2023 to 31.12.2023: ח' בטבת התשפ"ג ועד י"ט בטבת התשפ"ד
