Chanuka Buses from Beit Shemesh to Bnei Brak

During Chanuka (25th December - 2nd January 2025), Beit Shemesh Express will increase its urban and intercity public transportation services, and implement changes to operating hours and routes for buses to/from Bnei Brak.

City Bus Service
Operating hours will be extended until 1:30am for lines:    2, 6, 12, 14, 16, 17, 21 & 23

Intercity Service

In light of the high volume in Bnei Brak, a special schedule for regular service to Bnei Brak will be in place Sunday-Thursday:

Lines 680 and 690 will operate in both directions from the start of service only until the afternoon, without changes to the route.

From Beit Shemesh: service will end at 1:15pm -1:30pm | From Bnei Brak: service will end at 3:40pm - 4:00pm.

Lines 681 and 691 will operate in both directions from the afternoon until the end of service, on shortened routes in Bnei Brak and without changes to routes in Beit Shemesh.

From Beit Shemesh: Starting from 2pm until the end of service, bus service will be increased and extend until 12:20am.
During these hours, service will enter Bnei Brak via the Aluf Sade Interchange. Alighting in Bnei Brak will only be at two stops: Cemetery/Hazon Ish (26476) Ha'Admor MiNadvorna/Hazon Ish (21558)

From Bnei Brak: Starting from 3:30pm until the end of service, bus service will be increased and extend until 1:30am.
During these hours on these days, there will be no boarding from Bnei Brak on the regular route. Boarding will follow a shortened route via Ezra and Ben Ya’akov St. towards the Giv’at Shmuel Bridge and Highway 4, at only two boarding stops: Ezra/Damesek Eliezer (23055) HaRav Ben Ya'akov/Bar Yohai (26501)

Line 695 (weekend service) will also operate Sunday-Thursday evenings on a shortened route in both directions (excluding Kahanman St.) via stops on Highway 4 and Jabotinsky St. ,and continuing from there on the regular route.

From Beit Shemesh: between 5pm - 11:40pm, every 20 minutes | From Bnei Brak: between 5pm - 1:25am every 20 minutes

Line 408  - Service will be increased, and operating hours will be extended for Lines 412 and 507 .

Please note that on Friday and Motzei Shabbat, the service to Bnei Brak will operate on the normal routes.

Due to high traffic volume on routes leading to Bnei Brak, service will end earlier on Erev Shabbat Chanukah (Friday). It is recommended to depart early and avoid last-minute travel congestion.
