The Likud party of Beit Shemesh joined the new municipal coalition headed by Shmuel Greenberg
A few hours before taking office, Rabbi Shmuel Greenberg signed with the Likud party to join the coalition.
In exchange for joining the coalition, Likud will be given the following portfolios:
Salaried deputy mayor in rotation with the Shas (Shas will receive the first half)
City commissioner of Old Beit Shemesh
Sports culture and events portfolio
Business licensing
Urban renewal
Environmental Quality
Tourism and foreign relations
In addition, Mayor Shmuel Greenberg just signed a coalition agreement with the "Habayit Shelanu" party led by Rena Hollander
Mayor Shmuel Greenberg: "I have known Rena for many years, she is a loyal, hardworking and dedicated public person. We are embarking on a joint journey for the benefit of the National Religious community in Ramat Beit Shemesh and the city of Beit Shemesh in general and for the benefit of all the residents of the city. I believe and am convinced that together we will do great things for the city ".
