During the winter and early spring, the fields of Emek Ha'ela are covered with blossoming wild flowers. Tel Beit Shemesh is full of red anemones, and yellow chrysanthemums, and Givat Haturmosim (Lupin Hill) is covered in blue and purple lupins.
The proper name for the hill is Tel Sokha, and for two months in spring it is covered with thousands of gorgeous lupins along with cyclamens, anemones, chrysanthemums and other gorgeous wildflowers, creating a colorful and spectacular view. There is nothing like strolling along the paths of the Tel, looking out over the open views of Emek Ha'ela and enjoying the blossoms. The flowers are in bloom now and it is a beautiful sight!
