There is now a bus line from Beit Shemesh direct to Ikea - Line 28 which will operate throughout the day on 2 routes. 

The buses began running on June 20th 2025.  See the flyers above for the route details. Updated schedules will be available on Moovit and the Beit Shemesh Express website here: https://www.bs-exp.co.il/Lines.aspx

The express line, 28 will leave from the Beit Shemesh train station 3 times an hour during most of the day and will serve passengers to IKEA and will also pass through main roads in an industrial area. It is a circular route, running from 6am to 10pm on Sunday to Thursday, and till 1:30pm on Fridays.

Line 28A will have more stops within the Har Tuv Industrial Zone. It will provide service once an hour in the morning and afternoon hours and will travel on a more comprehensive route so that employees can easily reach and leave their workplaces.

Tip: During the initial adjustment period, it’s recommended to check the app before each ride – schedules may change in the first few days.
