Touro College in Israel is seeking a Librarian / Technology Specialist

Responsibilities include:

• Up-to-date skills and knowledge of technology

• Assist Dean and Faculty with finding and obtaining appropriate, up-to-date texts for courses

• Oversee lending of physical and electronic resources

• Support student, staff and faculty research and resource obtainment

• Teach resource course (asynchronous)

Requirements:

• MLS Degree or higher

• Willing to work on site

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of database systems

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work within a team environment.

Skills:

• Ability to work well with people, especially young adults as well as faculty.

• Previous experience in a college or university environment a plus.
