“Take Care of Mine, I’ll Take Care of Yours”
Families in Beit Shemesh and Ramat Beit Shemesh are turning to Yad Ezra V’Shulamit for food baskets for Shavuot.
For many struggling families, the two-day Yom Tov brings real worry. Single mothers, widows, elderly neighbors, and families facing unemployment are struggling to put food on the table.
Yad Ezra V’Shulamit provides food to widows, orphans, struggling families, and elderly residents of Beit Shemesh and RBS each week.
This year, rising food prices and the ongoing effects of the war have caused even more families in the community to ask for help.
The Torah teaches us how to bring Hashem’s bracha into our homes: take care of His children, and He will take care of ours. Rashi explains who Hashem’s children are: the widow, the orphan, the ger, and those with no one else to rely on.
Give a food basket to help a neighbor sit down at a Yom Tov table with enough food for their family.
Partner with the Ribono Shel Olam by caring for His children, and may you and your family merit a Yom Tov filled with true simcha and bracha.
