There are city-wide ceremonies for Yom Hazikaron on Tuesday night, 29th April, and during the day on Wednesday 30th April 2025.

Tuesday night, 29th April - א' אייר

5pm - A ceremony in memory of the fallen soldiers and victims of terror from Beit Shemesh who have been killed in this war. Members of the families of the fallen will participate. In the Memorial Grove in Ramat Shilo, in the park at the corner of Nahal Ein Gedi, RBS A.

5:15pm - Nachal Habesor, RBS A. Yom Hazikaron events without music, with separate seating for all the community to remember the fallen soldiers and victims of terror. Including Maariv.

7:40pm - Community Yom HaZikaron Ceremony in the RBS Matnas, together with the youth groups: Bnei Akiva, Ariel and Ezra

8pm - Siren will be sounded all over the country. The city memorial service at the City War Memorial - Ben Gurion St, Beit Shemesh. This will be broadcast live on the Iriyah website, Facebook and YouTube pages.

8:30pm - Yizkerem! Memorial ceremony for the martyrs of the IDF and the victims of terror. Suitable for the Charedi community. With Chazan Ohad Moshkovitz & choir (no instruments). The event will be held together with the bereaved families, rabbis and public figures.
Eshkol Pais Manas - 6 Aliyat Hanoar St. Beit Shemesh. Separate seating. The event is in hebrew.

9:30pm - Learning and remembering with HaRav Shraga Natan Dahan. L'ilui Nishmat Sergeant Yoni Greenblatt, HYD from Ramat Shilo. An evening in memory of Yoni, who was killed in Gaza in July last year. 
42, Nahal Ein Gedi, Ramat Shilo. There is a separate women's section.

10pm - An evening of songs of remembrance. Beit Yad L'Banim, 15 Aliyat Hanoar, Beit Shemesh.

Wenesday, 30th April -  ב' אייר

10:30am - Local ceremony in the community garden, 5 Nahal Habesor, RBS A.

11am - Siren will be sounded all over the country.Official Memorial Ceremony at the Military section of the City Cemetery

1pm - Reading Tehillim Lilui N'shamot the fallen from Beit Shemesh. Send a WhatsApp message to get the hebrew name and the link to a Perek Tehilim: 052-223-4500

Beit Yad L'Banim is open to visitors throughout the day, on Aliyat HaNoar Street, Beit Shemesh. City residents and schools are invited to visit, pray, and light a memorial candle.
