Dr. Weichholz was trained and received his specialty certificate in Periodontology and Implantology from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine, New York in 2011 and earned his DDS from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, New York, in 2008. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implantology.

He has been trained in the latest techniques of implant dentistry, sinus lifts, periodontal surgeries (osseous, GTR, etc.), mucogingival surgeries (CT grafts, root coverage procedures, etc.) and tooth exposure procedures.
