🏆 Beit Shemesh Education is Top of the Class! Two Local Educators Win Award for Excellence
The Jerusalem District Ministry of Education announced the winners of education awards for 2025 to outstanding educators, in recognition of their ethical, professional and influential educational work.
One of the winners is Dina Kedar, a math teacher at the Levi Eshkol School, who was recognized for her innovative teaching, and for turning the school into a hub where students, staff, and the community connect. She said that the award is first and foremost a recognition of the team's work and the students themselves. "This is a moment of great pride for the school and the entire community."
The award comes about a week after the announcement of Tzuri Azran, principle of Nitzanei Oz school winning the title of an Outstanding and Pioneering Principal in the Jerusalem District.
Mayor Shmuel Greenberg praised the achievement, noting that the award is a testament to the city's high standards and ongoing investment in its students. He said "This recognition confirms the city's reputation for educational excellence and values-driven leadership."
