During the last week of  August 2024 many of the Misrad HaPnim offices will be closed to the public.

The Beit Shemesh office will be closed from Sunday 25th August, 2024 to Sunday 1st September 2024, inclusive.

The website to make an appointment is: https://govisit.gov.il Check early in the morning for same-day appointments.

Reminder: You can to renew your passports and biometric identity cards online, without going to the Misrad Hapnim office! The Population and Immigration Authority's new service lets an adult citizen over the age of 18 who has a biometric identification and whose fingerprints were stored in the biometric database apply remotely and receive an identification document valid for up to five years. ‎

‎Important facts!‎

‎* The process will be possible for people aged 18 and over only‎.
‎* Issuance of a biometric passport in this track will be possible for those who were issued a previous biometric passport that expired within the last six months or are valid for a year ahead‎.
‎* Anyone holding a biometric passport or ID card, who approved the storage of fingerprints in the database at the time of the previous issuance can submit an application remotely‎
‎* Submission of an application will be given only to those who are in Israel at the time of submitting the application‎
‎* The identity card or passport issued will be biometric and valid for a maximum of five years. ‎
