More Buses, New Routes: Beit Shemesh Public Transit Gets a Major Boost
Getting around Beit Shemesh is about to get a lot easier. Following a successful push by Mayor Shmuel Greenberg, the Ministry of Transportation has officially approved a significant service expansion across the city.
What’s changing?
Increased Frequency: Expect more frequent buses on key local and intercity lines: 2, 6, 21, 23, 408, 600, 681, and 691.
New Route Alert: A brand-new local line will start soon, departing directly from the Ramat Beit Shemesh Dalet center.
This upgrade is a direct response to our city's rapid growth and the rising demand for reliable travel. The National Public Transportation Authority will continue to monitor performance to ensure the service keeps pace with our residents' needs.
