Tnufa Bus Company Called to a Hearing After Passenger Complaints Surge

Are you frustrated with the poor service from Tnufa buses?  You're not alone!

Two bus companies were summoned to a hearing at the National Public Transportation Authority due to low service levels!

Tnufa and Dan Be'er Sheva presented poor service indicators, and now they are required to present an immediate plan to improve service or serious measures will be considered against them.

Besides the low indicators, another consideration that led to the hearing was the high number of public complaints.

So every time you are hesitating whether to file a complaint or report - remember that passengers have the power to influence!

The main complaints presented against Tnufa are high non-performance rates and inaccuracy in schedules. In addition, specific cases were mentioned, such as line 189, which traveled with broken seats and shards of glass.

The company is ranked second from the bottom among all public transportation operators according to the Ministry of Transportation's report in the first half of 2025, and is now required to present a service improvement plan within a week, which will include on-site improvements within six months.

Dan Be'er Sheva's case is even more serious - The arguments against the company are based on higher than permissible non-performance rates.

Bottom line: If there is no significant and rapid change - in the extreme case, they will consider terminating the activity with the companies.

What are the companies required to present in the plan to immediately improve service for passengers?

~ Setting targets to improve performance

~ Meeting their schedules

~ Investing in buses and fixing deficiencies

~ Recruiting drivers

~ Improving communication mechanisms

~ Internal sanctions mechanism in case of failure to meet targets

We hope that these measures will lead to an improvement in service!

Reminder: If you have the HopOn RavKav app, there is an option to report your complaints in real time about poor bus service. You can report:

~ The bus didn't stop at the bus stop
~ The bus is more than 10 minutes late, or didn't arrive at all
~ The bus stop is unpleasant to wait at.

You can click on the flag at the top of the screen to make your complaint (see the picture above).

You can download the app here:

The 15Minutes Transport Consumers Rights Organization are following up from your complaints.
