What to bring
In order to have your application processed, you must bring the following:

- U.S. passport and one copy of the passport
- pay online $130. You will get a receipt that you paid online for the passport (payment must be made online for the DS-82). Make sure to print that receipt and bring it with you
- confirmation from courier service of delivery (see below section)
Delivery:
The new passport gets delivered to you via a courier service.
Fill in this form: (https://israelpost.co.il/embassy), pay the 60 Shekels and print the confirmation/receipt you'll get and include that with the other documents above. The receipt you'll get MUST have a barcode on it. When you print the confirmation/receipt, please make sure the barcode appears.
Please do not make any assumptions on when your new passports will be delivered. Sometimes it takes 2-3 weeks and sometimes much longer. I have no idea how long it'll be. If you're making travel plans etc. based on the date of the embassy visit, my suggestion would be not to.
The day of:
Bring everything in a manilla envelope or something else so everything stays together.
When you come, you'll be asked if everything is filled out and ready to go.
1) If yes, embassy staff will check your application and if all's in order, you'll be out in very little time.
2) If no, embassy staff will not be able to see you and process your application. There will be no exceptions.
As a precaution: It's advisable to bring a second form of ID with you- Israeli passport, teudat zehut, drivers license. It won't be needed but just in case...
