Do You or Your Relatives Live in Israel and Are Interested in Making Aliyah?

❗ It is important for you to know: Residing in Israel before receiving Oleh status can affect your rights at the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration!

🟢Those who have been in Israel for up to 3 years (consecutive or cumulative) out of the 12 years prior to receiving the status are entitled to an Oleh Certificate and all assistance from the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration.

🟡 Those who have resided in Israel between 3 and 5 years out of the 12 years prior to receiving the status are entitled to an Oleh Certificate and only partial assistance from the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration.

🔴 Those who have resided in Israel for more than 5 years out of the 12 years prior to receiving the status are not entitled to an oleh certificate or any assistance from the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, but they will be able to receive a printed confirmation with their date of Aliyah.

💰 Benefit given to those with full eligibility as an Oleh/Olah who have resided in Israel for no more than 24 months (consecutive or cumulative) out of the 3 years prior to receiving Oleh status or eligibility as an Oleh.

📅 Important to know! There are periods of residence that do not count and do not affect eligibility:

✔️ A stay of up to 4 months (consecutive or cumulative) in each calendar year.

✔️ Participation in the Masa program.

✔️ Service in the IDF, National Service, Mahal.

✔️ Volunteering for national needs for 4 months to a year.

✔️ Academic studies for up to 4 years.

✔️ Stay as a diplomat of another country or a family member of a diplomat.

💡Good to know! Olim who are not eligible for assistance from the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration may be eligible for benefits from government ministries and other bodies (tax benefits, driver's license conversion, etc.). Check what you are entitled to!
