✈️ Summer vacation is about to start! Are you having guests from abroad? Are you planning to travel? It's important to fill out an ETA form!

🌍 All tourists arriving in Israel from visa-exempt countries must complete an ETA-IL form before arriving in Israel!

The ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) is an electronic system designed to examine travel requests to Israel in advance.

⚠️ Warning!  Beware of fake websites! Use only the official website of the Population and Immigration Authority.

The Population and Immigration Authority recommends that travel authorization applications be submitted at least 72 hours prior to any booking of flight tickets, hotel rooms and other similar expanses that are related your planned travel to Israel.

Note: Visitors from countries for which a visa is required for travel to Israel must still obtain a visa as before.

Instructions for new Olim:

🆕Have you recently made Aliyah and still don't have an Israeli passport or an Israeli travel document (Teudat Maavar)? Reminder: You can depart and enter Israel with a foreign passport that is valied until Sept 9th, 2026.

Take note! Even if you have Israeli citizenship and by law you do not have to fill out an ETA form, it is recommended that you fill out the form to avoid problems with the airlines upon your return to Israel.

📝 Important requirements!

•        The foreign passport must be valid for at least 90 days from the date of entry to Israel.

•        The application must be submitted at least 72 hours before the flight date.

•        Application cost: 25 NIS ($7).
