Starting in June 2027, proof of knowledge of Hebrew is mandatory for all doctors from all countries of origin in order to obtain a license to practice medicine in Israel.

The Ministry of Aliyah and Integration is opening 3 courses of an advanced Hebrew online ulpan for the medical and paramedical professions.

The ulpan is suitable for doctors, pharmacists, nurses, psychologists, and all the paramedical professions. The courses are designed for professionals who already made Aliyah, up to 10 years from the date of Aliyah.

Morning Ulpan

• 5 sessions per week
• Hours: 9 AM to 1 PM
• Dates: June 15, 2026 to Oct 15, 2026
• There will be no classes in August
• Registration closes: June 13th, 2026

Evening Ulpan

• 2 sessions per week
• Hours: 5 PM to 8:15 PM
• Dates: Sept 6, 2026 to June 30, 2027
• Registration closes: Aug 31, 2026

Morning Ulpan

• 5 sessions per week
• Hours: 9 AM to 1 PM
• Dates: Dec 1, 2026 to Mar 2, 2027
• Registration closes: Nov 24, 2026
