Worldwide Siyum
Thousands of Jews around the world are learning Tanach, Misnayot or a Daf of Gemara in memory of fallen soldiers and victims of terror. The goal is to have something learned for each of Israel’s fallen (more than 26,000) by completing multiple siyums in less than 24 hours on Yom Hazikaron.
You can sign up to learn, as an individual or a family or group:  https://lekedoshim.com/en/

Each participant will learn in the merit of a person who is commemorated on Yom HaZikaron. B"eH we will start and finish all of Shas, Tanach and Mishnayot!  Join the siyum from nightfall (7:35pm) on Monday April 20th, 2026 through to sunset Tuesday April 21st.

“HaLamed Heh: The 35 soldiers who never returned home”
During Israel’s War of Independence, under cover of night, 35 young Jewish men set out to deliver supplies to the people in the cut-off Etzion Bloc, south of Jerusalem. Tragically, they were discovered en route and massacred by local Arab villagers. For Yom Hazikaron, watch this video to hear the dramatic story of the “Lamed Heh,” the convoy of 35:  https://youtu.be/CR3. This is a local story for Beit Shemesh, as the soldiers set off that night from close to the city, from the area that is now Kibbutz Netiv HaLamaed Heh, that was renamed in their memory.
