Employment Week for Seniors - Special Program

Next week - Sunday19th to Thursday 23rd February 2023, is a special week for helping the over 60s to find work.

In Israel the retirement age for men is 67 years old, and for women from 62 to 65 years old (depending on date of birth), but many seniors experience age discrimination in the job market.

This initiative, from the Ministry for Social Equality, aims to help people over 60 to find jobs in the workplace.
The program includes relevant workshops and a chance to meet with key people from leading companies in the economy - and all online, on Zoom.
Participants will be given the tools to help them integrate into the labor market and be exposed to great jobs - even before they are advertised to the general public.

Among the companies who will be holding the meetings: Kupat Cholim Leumit, Onot, Jump, HaMashbir, Chimes Israel, Elwyn Israel, Mgroup, SIH Security, and others.
